Marin Washington

Marin Waddington, a great player on the field, as well as a great friend. I’ve been good friends with Marin for about 4 years and have gotten to know her quite well. Marin is always on top of everything -- she’s always prepared and you could always count on her with or without the ball. She was a leading scorer with a total of 5 goals and 5 assists. She is a smart player with quick hands. Everyone on Team 8 looked up to Marin as a leader. She always answered questions about field hockey that her teammates had. Also, she was always looking to help improve the team and players by sharing her thoughts and ideas. Marin’s positive and motivating spirit rubbed off on everyone. On the flip side of field hockey, Marin is very easy going and could laugh with anyone.
